Following the last minute survival in the final match of the 2009-2010 season the prospects for the 2010-2011 season did not look good for the Climbers, could they survive another season in division 1.  At Christmas things did not look that great either in the relegation zone with 5 defeats and a no victories, but the new year showed a change of fortune for the Climbers a run of form of 9 wins and just 2 defeats that took the Climbers to just 6 points from promotion to the premier league.  The batting was powered by consistent performances by Tom Lee and Greg Donaldson, supported by Alan Munday, Andy Tucker, Warren Trask and new boy Jordan Butcher.  Greg also played a leading part in the bowling, normally opening with Jordan.  Excellent support was then taken up by Nathan Field and Keith Waldock.  What a fantastic 2011 the Climbers achieved.
